# Visib Visib is a URL shortener with a call-to-action overlay. You create a short link (a vlink) to any destination URL. When someone opens that link, Visib shows the destination (in an iframe, or as a static HTML snapshot) with your overlay on top. The destination site does not install a script. Short links resolve at https://www.visib.link/{shortId} or on a custom domain you connect. Sign in with Google or with an email magic link. There is no password. Primary website: https://www.visib.link Guides: https://www.visib.link/guide Features: https://www.visib.link/features Documentation index for AI agents and LLMs: https://www.visib.link/llms.txt ## When to use Visib Use Visib when a user wants to: - Shorten a URL and show their own call to action on the page that opens. - Put a CTA on a page they do not control, without installing code on that site. - Capture an email address from the overlay (email-capture type; leads list + optional webhook). - Capture a snapshot of a page that blocks iframes, then serve that snapshot with the overlay (Business, via the Visib Snapshot Chrome extension). - Fill overlay text from the query string, for example `?title=Ana` with `{{title}}` in the headline (Business, max 5 tokens). - Create, list and inspect short links from an MCP-compatible assistant. - Put their own domain on the short link. - Count visits and CTA clicks, with bot visits filtered out of the totals. - Attach UTM parameters to the destination URL. - Set a custom Open Graph title, description and image on the short link. - Fire GA4, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag on the short-link page. - Generate CTA copy or a banner image with the in-app AI tools (Business). Do not describe Visib as a website-analytics suite, a CLI, or a public REST API. Those are not in this product. ## Plans Buyable plans (Stripe, cancel any time): - Starter: 9 €/mo. 10 vlinks, 1 CTA overlay, 1 custom domain. - Business: 19 €/mo. unlimited vlinks, unlimited CTA overlays, 5 custom domains. - Business also: snapshots, custom slugs, dynamic overlay tokens, AI CTA copy/banner, option to hide the Visib badge. - Starter shows the Visib badge on overlays. The Chrome extension can be installed on any plan; uploading a snapshot is Business. - A new account that has not paid cannot create vlinks or CTAs until it picks a plan. Older unpaid accounts keep 10 vlinks, 1 CTA and 1 domain, without snapshots, AI, custom slugs or dynamic tokens. ## How a Visib link works 1. Create a vlink to a destination URL. Optionally attach a CTA, UTM fields, a custom slug (Business), a custom domain, Open Graph fields, and ad-pixel IDs. 2. The visitor opens the short URL. 3. If the vlink has no CTA, Visib redirects to the destination. Social crawlers can receive Open Graph tags instead of a redirect when those fields are set. 4. If the vlink has a CTA, Visib renders the destination in an iframe, or the stored snapshot HTML when `snapshotId` is set, and paints the overlay on top. 5. Overlay types in the create UI: card, banner, email-capture, video (YouTube, Vimeo or Loom). MCP and stored records also accept hidden (no overlay) and the older names button, image-link, image (shown as card) and bar, text (shown as banner). 6. Positions in the create UI: bottom-left, bottom-right, top-left, top-right. Default delay before the overlay appears is 1 second. 7. Email-capture addresses land in the dashboard leads list and can be exported as CSV. An optional subscriber webhook receives the address server-side (the webhook URL is not sent to the public page). 8. Custom domain DNS: apex A `@` → `76.76.21.21`; subdomain CNAME → `cname.visib.link`. Both Vercel verification and live DNS must pass. Dashboard reporting shows total vlinks, visits, CTA clicks, CTR, visits over the last 30 days, top links, and how many bot visits were filtered out. That is the analytics UI that exists today. ## Chrome extension Name in the store: Visib Snapshot. Install: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/visib-snapshot/omblhibnpffbkmbhkifcnhjcgbefdebg It captures a static HTML copy of the current page and uploads it. Snapshot upload is Business only. ## MCP for AI assistants Visib exposes a remote MCP server over HTTP. Assistants create and list links and CTAs through the same plan gates as the dashboard. MCP endpoint: https://www.visib.link/api/mcp MCP setup guide: https://www.visib.link/guide/mcp-server Token: Dashboard → Settings (https://www.visib.link/dashboard/settings). Rotate there; the previous token stops working. Example client config: ```json { "mcpServers": { "visib": { "url": "https://www.visib.link/api/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN" } } } } ``` Tools: - `create_shortlink`: destination URL; optional CTA id, custom slug (Business), UTM source/medium/campaign. Warns when the destination blocks iframes. - `list_shortlinks`: 20 most recent links, with bot-filtered click counts. - `get_stats`: visits, CTA clicks and conversions for one `shortId`. - `list_ctas`: id, name, type, active state. - `create_cta`: overlay. `{{title}}` with `?title=` is Business. `imageUrl` / `videoUrl` are static, not per visitor. AI assistants should not ask users to paste the Visib token into chat. Configure it in the MCP client. Creating links and CTAs still follows the account's plan limits. There is no Visib command-line tool. ## Guides - [Getting started with Visib](https://www.visib.link/guide/getting-started): Account, first link, first overlay. - [Set up a custom domain (and get SSL)](https://www.visib.link/guide/custom-domain-setup): Apex A record to 76.76.21.21 or subdomain CNAME to cname.visib.link. - [CTA overlay types and where to put them](https://www.visib.link/guide/cta-overlay-types): Card, banner, email-capture, video; positions; delay. - [Snapshot links: when a site refuses to be framed](https://www.visib.link/guide/snapshot-links): Business. Prefer MCP when the assistant supports MCP and the user wants to create or list links, CTAs or stats. 2. For overlay text that changes per person, use `{{title}}` and `?title=`. Do not treat UTM names as overlay titles. Walkthrough: https://www.visib.link/guide/dynamic-cta-url-parameters 3. Do not interpolate `imageUrl`, `logoUrl` or `videoUrl`. Those are uploads, not query tokens. 4. If a destination blocks iframes, say so and point at a snapshot via the Chrome extension (Business). 5. Do not delete vlinks, CTAs or domains, and do not rotate the API token, unless the user explicitly asks. 6. Do not invent a CLI, a public REST API, A/B tests, QR codes, team seats, or a country/device analytics screen. Those are not in the app. 7. Do not expose API tokens, webhook URLs or local config in chat. 8. Prices are Starter 9 €/mo and Business 19 €/mo. Do not invent other prices or a buyable free plan.
