Add a CTA overlay without installing anything on the website
Put your call to action on a page you own or a page you do not. No plugin, no pixel, no JavaScript on that site. Optional URL parameters personalize the same overlay per share. Business for tokens.

Why a custom social preview on a short link matters
Before the click, people see a card: a title, a line, and one image. On a Visib link you choose all three. The image is the file you saved. It does not change per person.
The advantages of a dynamic CTA: one link, a different line per person
One link to everybody, and the overlay reads their name. What a dynamic CTA buys you over one generic line, what it costs, and where it stops.
CTA Overlay Examples: 8 Real Use Cases That Convert (2026)

Most "add a CTA to your site" tools want a script tag, a WordPress plugin, or a Shopify app. That only works when you control the page. The links you actually share often go to a newsletter roundup, a news article, a partner post, or a product you do not own. You cannot install anything there.
Visib does not inject code into that website. You wrap the URL in a short link on visib.link. A domain you own is optional. The visitor opens your link. They see the page plus your overlay. If you need the overlay text to change per client, Business fills {{title}} from the link you send. Same overlay, their name, still no install.
Two jobs, one mechanism
A page you own
You might already have a banner in the theme. You still use a Visib link when you cannot ship a deploy, when marketing wants a different offer per campaign, or when you want one overlay reused across ten landing URLs without touching each template. The site stays as it is. The overlay lives on the link.
A page you do not own
This is the default Visib job. You share someone else's article. The reader still reads it. Your button, bar, or form sits on top. There is no cooperation needed from that publisher. Setup steps: add a CTA to any link.
What you do not install
- No JavaScript snippet in their
<head>. - No WordPress / Webflow / Squarespace plugin on the destination.
- No pixel they have to approve.
- No browser extension the reader has to run.
You may use the Visib Chrome extension on your machine to capture a snapshot when the destination blocks iframes. That is optional and it is on your side, not theirs.
A different offer for each client (Business)
Headline: {{title}}: 12 tools from this piece. Send Ana ?title=Ana. They read their list, not a hello. Walkthrough: Custom CTA for each link.
What this is not
- It is not a popup library you paste into production.
- It is not editing the destination HTML.
- It is not a fake star rating of the destination page.
A CTA works on visib.link with no domain of your own. Starter includes 1 overlay. Business is unlimited overlays, snapshots, dynamic tokens, and hiding the Visib badge.
