Getting started with Visib

Visib puts your call to action on top of somebody else's page. You share an article, the reader opens it, and your message travels with it — so the click has a way back to you instead of being a gift to whoever wrote the article.

1. Create your account

Sign in with Google or with a magic link sent to your email. There is no password to invent and no card to enter. The free plan includes 10 links, 1 CTA overlay, 1 custom domain, click analytics, the UTM builder and the Chrome extension.

2. Add your domain (this one is not optional for CTAs)

A link with no CTA works on visib.link immediately. To attach a CTA, the link has to live on a domain you own and have verified — one DNS record, then a Verify button.

3. Build your CTA

In the dashboard, open CTAs and create one. Pick the type (card, banner, plain text, image, email capture, video), write the headline and the message, set the button text and where the button sends people, and choose your colours. The preview updates as you type.

4. Create your first link

1. Open Vlinks → Create and paste the destination URL.
2. Pick the CTA you just built.
3. Optionally add UTM parameters and per-link tracking pixels.
4. Save. You get a short link on your domain, ready to share.

While you type the destination, Visib checks in the background whether that site allows being shown inside a frame. If it does not, you get a warning right there — because that is the one thing that stops the overlay from rendering. The fix takes one click and is explained in snapshot links.

5. Share it and watch what comes back

Every visit records the country, the device, the browser and where the click came from, and the reporting view separates visits from CTA clicks so you can see which of the two is failing. Bot visits — the Slack unfurler, crawlers, uptime monitors — are counted separately and kept out of your numbers.
